The meeting was held in the picturesque city of Kavala and hosted at the historic Halil Bey Mosque in the heart of the old town.
Over the two days of work, partners defined the key elements of the project, placing particular emphasis on developing the training programmes for teachers and students.
These programmes became the foundation for introducing innovative approaches to environmental education and climate awareness in schools. Discussions focused on content, methodologies, and teaching tools to ensure accessible, engaging, and coherent learning pathways aligned with the needs identified during the initial analysis.
A key moment of the meeting was the presentation of the EcoMystery platform, which will host the educational escape rooms designed to engage young people with climate‑crisis topics through interactive, participatory learning.
Still under development, the platform emerged as one of the project’s main outputs, bringing together the technical, pedagogical, and communication expertise of all partners.
